Dr. Ehrenberg graduated from the California College of
Podiatric Medicine in 1986 and did his residency in Denver, Colorado. He grew up in Marin County and has
practiced here since the completion of his residency. His practice focuses on Sports Medicine, but he also treats
non-sports related conditions. His
residency training was at a Veterans Administration Hospital, so he has
extensive experience with treating the elderly and wound care. He takes a conservative approach to
treatment and recommends surgery as a last resort.
He participated in Cross Country Running in college
and became interested in Podiatry because of its focus on biomechanics and
sports medicine. During his
residency in Colorado he took up bicycle racing and moved through the ranks to
become a category II road cyclist and Pro/Elite Mountain biker. He has
extensive experience treating bicyclists and runners, but also treats many
athletes from other sports as well as non-athletes. He has served on Bicycling
Magazines fitness advisory panel and many top athletes have been treated by him
including Susan Demattei and Lance Armstrong.
